Producers Vie for Seats on Wisconsin Milk Marketing
Board
During April 13-25, 2009, dairy
producers in eight Wisconsin districts may vote
for representatives to the Wisconsin Milk Marketing
Board. Eleven candidates are running for the
eight available positions, which affect more
than 3,500 dairy producers. Information about
candidates
running for three-year Board terms is included
below.
The Wisconsin Department of
Agriculture will mail ballots to all licensed
dairy producers who reside within the districts
up for election. Producers who do not receive
a ballot by April 17 should call Noel Favia at
the Department at (608) 224-5140. Eligible producers
must return their ballots in certified envelopes
postmarked by April 25.
